About Me

I am creating Creative Hysterics as a way to share my art. Why is that important right now? To anyone, aside from myself and few choice people, it may not be. With everything being oversaturated in AI art and socially polished designs, ideas and art can blend into an endless scape of impossible to achieve.

Who am I though? Essentially, no one important in the grand scheme of things. I am an artist, and a friend - a worker, and a person. I have people who are important to me, and hopefully people I am important to, that are close to me.

With an Associate’s in Drafting and Design, I have 11+ years professional experience in CAD (Computer Aided Design), specializing more towards Construction (foundational) and Fire Alarm Design.

I really love learning how things work, and getting to learn about different construction and manufacturing disciplines really got me interested in the ‘meat’ of design. Not necessarily from the engineering perspective, but from the art perspective. I really wanted to go into a kind of ‘Design’ career from the get-go, but ‘Art’ as a whole is a divisive subject for career planning. It has never been seen as the stable option in many circles. So I went the way of Drafting and ultimately fell in love with the idea of being able to translate other’s designs into feasible works to go through fabrication.

This leads me to the point, and hopefully helps give a bit of background as to why I am a varied material, multi-media artist.

I love learning and exploring different machines and programs, as well as physical mediums and tactile art-type/craft-type projects. To start out, all releases will be in a Print On Demand format for standard illustrations and prints. I would like to quickly move to vending locally to showcase and sell 3D prints, bookmarks, pins and stickers - which I am capable of manufacturing instead of ordering. Moving forward, I would like to expand from illustration to more hands-on projects, but never moving completely away from the base offerings - as that is something that truly brings me joy (and I hope it brings others joy in some way).

For those curious, I will list my current working machines below this blurb. The goal is to eventually be able to manufacture and ship direct from my workspace, as I would like to quality test everything before selling it. There is also a sense of satisfaction in being able to say that something was designed and manufactured locally, without having to outsource to a major print-house (no offense to the major print houses).

Creative Hysterics couldn’t be today, like exist (at all), without the help and support of some very important people in my life - and I would like to thank them (I know, again, I’m a grateful person, get over it lol) as I would not have been able to do this on my own.

There will be many more updates over time, even here on this page, that will add more context and content. My wish is to do at least one major update a month, with multiple product updates. If there is a design that you would like to see, please let me know - we will see what we can do to get it added to the next update.

Thank you for coming to check things out, and here’s to hoping you come back every once in a while to see the updates. 🙂

I have gained a lot of my materials through sales, thrifting, or as gifts from family and friends. It has taken me many years just to accumulate what I have access to now, for which I am very thankful for. If there are any questions on materials, please ask away - we will do our best to answer. Though I am no expert, by any means, and am still learning how to do all of this.
